Dr. Rebecca Naas

Dr. Rebecca Naas joined the team at River Forest Animal Hospital in July 2023 and is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to her patients and their families.

Dr. Naas earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Grove City College before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in surgery, particularly ophthalmic surgery, and enjoys the challenges and rewards of helping pets regain comfort, function, and quality of life through advanced surgical care.

Dr. Naas was previously Fear Free Certified and is committed to creating a positive, low-stress experience for pets during their veterinary visits. She believes that minimizing fear and anxiety is an essential part of delivering exceptional patient care.

Dedicated to advancing the veterinary profession, Dr. Naas is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). She currently serves as a CVMA board member and previously contributed to the organization's Public Education Committee.

When caring for patients, Dr. Naas combines her scientific knowledge, surgical expertise, and genuine compassion to help pets live healthier, happier lives. She is proud to serve the River Forest community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with pets and their families.
