Dr. Adam Thomas is an "army brat" who was born in Germany but grew up in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. He earned both his undergraduate and veterinary degrees from the University of Minnesota. 

Dr. Thomas lives in Chicago (Galewood) with his two wily cats, Richie Cunnigham and Blackie Chan, and his dog Squeaks, a Belgian Malinois. He has two young children, Lucas and Zelda, whom he enjoys spending time with. 

His professional interests include abdominal ultrasound and surgery. 

Dr. Thomas' favorite activities include watching football, playing trivia, traveling, riding his motorcycle and playing video games.
